Despite being based in the USA, we built Autonix as a global service, currently serving customers in 8 countries!

Our Story

The http://autonix.io story started on a cold day in November, 2020. The pandemic was in full force. By that time, there were already 2 different types of people. People who cared A LOT about COVID. And people who didnt:

On social media, this was a common occurrence... "We just closed [X] due to several staff members being infected. We are cleaning & will reopen in 1 week 🦠"
Unraveled:
1. Business has sick employees and closes
2. Most effected customers wont get the message

There was a better way to do this. Everyone and their mother was already scanning QR Code menus. Why not make a way for people who cared to be notified there...

https://autonix.io was born!

We spent the next 5 months and built a highly scalable tracking platform, a flow to intercept QR Code scans, and building a system for any business to create cohorts of people of interest (ie everyone exposed during a sick employee's shift).

MVP launched March 2021 🚀

Like any startup, our best intentions flopped 🤗 businesses didnt adopt exactly what we built.

We were left with a powerful idea + tracking platform to iterate on.

Since then we've:
